Linda T. Curtis

Linda T. Curtis is the Clinical Director of Matters of the Mind, LLC- a full service behavioral health agency, located in North Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV. She is a community distinguished psychotherapist, forensic and relationship authority. With Practitioner Curtis’ research on psychological testing in fair criminal sentencing practice, as well as her work as an expert witness in civil court, she bridges theory and practicality. After obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Post-Graduate Specialist in Mental Health Assessment, and completing all academic course work in a Ph.D. Clinical Psychology program, she went on to complete a Doctoral Intern training at St. Joseph of Macomb Hospital (JCAHO accredited), in which she completed rotations in neuro-psychology, inpatient, psychological testing, civil commitment and forensic psychology. She is a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and a Nationally Board Certified Masters Addiction Counselor. She is also licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a limited licensed Psychologist (LLP).

She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level at various colleges and universities across the country. Currently a Professor of Psychology at the College of Southern (CSN). She most enjoyed serving as a graduate TA of cognitive and personality testing for doctoral level students. Professor Curtis continued that love of psychological testing by serving as an Independent Medical Examiner for social security disability-SSI for the State of Michigan, in which she conducted hundreds of psychological testing examinations, providing evidence supported recommendations to the courts, as well as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding pilots and air traffic controller’s fitness for duty.

Although she loves psychology and is proud of her accomplishments in the field, she is most proud of her enjoyable 22-year marriage to her husband, Capt. Kenneth B. Curtis Jr. (USAF), and being the mother of her two amazing children. Kendal MacKenzie (16), a classically trained ballet dancer who attends Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a dance major, and is an active Make-a-Wish ambassador. Kenneth B. Curtis III (13), a center for the Jr. Golden Knights ice hockey team, who is a two-time recipient of the ‘Be Kind Like Josh’ award. Both honor roll students who make their mother laugh every single day, and that is priceless! Linda T. Curtis is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and is a charter member of the Sigma Theta chapter of Midwestern State University in Texas.

Dr. Cyndia K. Glorfield

Dr. Cyndia Glorfield is a doctoral level counselor with significant experience and accomplishments in both her professional practice, and academia. One of her great passions is developing other behavioral health professionals, and assisting them with strategies to reduce vicarious trauma and develop appropriate self-care techniques. Dr. Glorfield has presented at several state, regional and national conferences on topics such as Grief and Bereavement, Counselor Education, and Professional Ethics. In addition, she has served as Clinical Director of the Counseling Skills Center at University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, and is a registered supervisor in the state of Idaho.

In 2011, Dr. Glorfield earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. )in Counselor Education and Counseling with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University Meridian Health Sciences Center. Highlighting her passion for the education and development of students, her dissertation was about Participation among cohorts of counselors-in-training. She has been published on the subject of Grief Counseling, by VISTAS, a publication of the American Counseling Association.

Dedicated to the profession and it’s best practice, Cyndia has served on the Idaho Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (IACES) as Representative to the Idaho Counseling Association (ICA). Dr. Glorfield also served on the Idaho Counseling Association Human Rights Committee, and as Conference Planning Committee on-site chair. In addition, she also served on the Rocky Mountain Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (RMACES)

Cyndia enjoys spending time with her 5 children and six grandchildren, and her beloved therapy dog, Zoey. Her favorite past times are going to the beach, reading, and playing and watching sports with her family.

Patrick Osmonson, MA, LISAC, SATS

Patrick Osmonson is a Therapist at Matters of the Mind, LLC in the Laughlin office- a full service behavioral health agency, located in North Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV. He began his career as a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist in the United States Navy. Subsequently he worked with several behavioral health agencies as a Substance Use Therapist and worked in both the Arizona and California Departments of Correction as both a Substance Abuse Supervisor and as a Program Director.

Mr. Osmonson is married and the proud father of five children who have grown and have careers of their own.

Dr. Rod M Jones

Dr. Rod Michael Jones is a licensed clinical psychotherapist. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Social Work from the Morgan State University School of Social Work in Baltimore, MD and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical Social Work from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Jones also earned national credentialing as a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). In addition, Dr. Jones has completed qualitative research on aging and HIV/AIDS issues among vulnerable diverse LGBTQ populations.

Dr. Jones has over 10 years of behavioral health, life coaching, and higher education/collegiate education experiences. He also has culturally competent psychotherapeutic expertise in self-esteem/relationship issues and depression/anxiety among adults, LGBTQ populations, and older adults/geriatrics.

Dr. Jones, native of Valley, Alabama and former resident of the Washington, D.C. metro area, personally enjoys music, sporting events, traveling, and providing community service/empowerment/mentorship support for his fraternity, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

Rob Scalise

Rob is a licensed behavior analyst with the state of Nevada and has been certified for over 2 years. He considers himself a student of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. Before receiving his masters degree from the Florida Institute of Technology, Rob spent his previous 8 years working directly with children carrying out direct, ABA 1:1 therapy for children with a wide range of disabilities and also spent 2+ years as a child abuse investigator. He also works as a consultant with a goal of growing the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in ways that help the general population and has completed projects with several large-scale companies working on management and safety initiatives. Rob is passionate about providing effective, meaningful, and practical solutions that fit the needs of his clients by understanding that every person, every family, and every business is unique.

Jonathan Wotell

Jonathan Wotell is a clinical therapist at Matters of the Mind, LLC Behavioral Health Agency. Wotell received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and his Master of Science in Education – Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College in New York City, NY. Wotell gained experience during an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness to gain insight and increase coping skills. Wotell has experience working with individuals with various presenting problems including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, grief, and substance abuse. Wotell also focuses on couples counseling, LGBTQ issues, and disability issues.

Wotell brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy, but also a commitment to honesty and solution focused therapy. Wotell has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy and has a passion for Mindfulness Meditation. He helps clients to foster self compassion and to develop skills to face the problems of life head on.

Adrienne Y. Crosley

Adrienne Y. Crosley is a Nevada Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) at Matters of the Mind, LLC Behavioral Health Agency, providing services at the Las Vegas location. Ms. Crosley has over 5 years’ experience in addiction counseling and working with adolescent female homeless youth in non-profit and for-profit organizations. She has enhanced her specialty skillset by working with individuals with co-occurring disorders in intensive inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. Ms. Crosley provides crisis intervention and supportive services to individual, couples, and families, working with community agencies to aid in assisting persons in need of services, with focus on the “whole person.”

Ms. Crosley is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International, Walden University Omega Zeta Chapter as well as a member of Walden University and University of Nevada-Las Vegas Alumni Associations. She is also a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.

Ms. Crosley is very proud of her personal and professional accomplishments. She has been a resident of Nevada for 40 years. Professionally, Ms. Crosley’s reported strengths are “working side-by-side with diverse patients, reinforcing their value, and presenting in a way that is ethical and appropriate. V. Lauraine Gladstone

V. Lauraine Gladstone is a Psychotherapist at Matters of the Mind, LLC Behavioral Health Agency, providing services at both the Las Vegas and Laughlin offices. Gladstone has been awarded two Master’s Degrees and has utilized them in the field for over 10 years. She has achieved her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide, as well as her Master’s Degree in Education (Counseling), from the University of Phoenix. Not only has she worked in the Mental Health field for over 7 years, she has counseled and taught for many years in higher educational institutions, including at the world renowned, Le’ Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts, founded in Paris in 1895.

Multiculturalism, diversity, and cultural competency are vital knowledge based areas for mental health professionals. As a Psychotherapist, Cultural Competency Practices is a priority, and Gladstone has enhanced her specialty skill set first hand by traveling the world and absorbing the rich cultures of many people. After many years of traveling internationally, and serving with honor, Gladstone earned an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.

Gladstone, a native of Miami Florida. She has lived in Las Vegas for over 25 years, with her 22-year-old daughter; who she has called her pride and joy. She enjoys dancing, and has previously own a dance company, and other business entities. Gladstone also loves jazz music, but also loves being introduced to other genres of music.

Kenneth Curtis

CAPT Kenneth B. Curtis Jr. (USAF) currently serves as Flight Commander for the 752nd MDS, as well as a Clinical Nurse. He works in the Emergency Department of the VA Hospital for over 10 years as a Charge Nurse. CAPT Curtis holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy. He has served in two armed conflicts, to include Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom, functioning as a part of the emergency medical team.


Heather Smith

Heather Smith comes to Matters of the Mind, LLC with me extensive knowledge and experience working in case management and business management. She has worked with the Jobs Program, assisting clients who received public assistance, become gainfully employed and self-sufficient. She has also worked within the Department of Corrections as a Case Manager. In that capacity, Ms. Smith assisted inmates in required programing, as well as helped them obtain housing, as a requirement for a parolee eligibility. In addition to these serves, she provided counseling and completed the intake and release process.

Ms. Smith also has a great deal of knowledge working with children and families, servicing as a Case Manager with the Department of Child Safety with the State of Arizona. This position required a great deal of diligence in working with individuals from every aspect of life, with the ultimate goal of assisting them to becoming self-sufficient.
