We recognize the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic so here at Matters of the Mind
we offer safe therapy services with a variety of ways of providing treatment to ensure your safety.
Community Resources
Our Resource Department takes a holistic approach grounded in principles of empowerment, human rights, inclusion, social justice, self-determination, and collective action.
Resources
Our pantry receives direct donations from stores, restaurants, cafeterias, and individuals with surplus food to share. Remember to contact our pantry to find out what items they accept. Also, the pantry will often pick up donations free of charge.
Families in Las Vegas and Clark County can get free clothes, stuff for their home, school supplies, and other support from the resource department. They are committed to helping the less fortunate. Several items may be provided to those who qualify, including baby clothing, free back to school supplies, and personal hygiene items.
Assistance programs are administered to people of all ages, including children and senior citizens. Services are also available for Spanish speakers and immigrants can also get free clothes for their families. The resources available at this location may vary and often depend on donations. Other seasonal needs may be met as well, such as Christmas gifts, toys, and even school supplies. While even less common, limited amounts of emergency financial assistance may be paid out.
