CLINICAL THERAPIST OPENING

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Requirements: Must be licensed to practice independently by Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners: BCBA certification


Job Type:Per Diem, Contractual or limited Full-Time options

Matters of the Mind, a multifaceted mental health practice, provides a combination of psychiatric and psychological services in the Las Vegas valley, as well as in Laughlin, NV. We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) responsible for ensuring implementation of ABA therapy services in accordance with best clinical practices, to service our Las Vegas and/or Laughlin communities in a non-discriminatory and culturally competent manner.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education / special education, or a related field

BCBA Certification required

At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders

Experience in behavioral assessment and treatment

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Experience with children on the autism spectrum

Must be able to pass the Nevada Department of Public Safety Background Check

Possess a Valid Driver’s license


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND, ABILITIES

We're looking for energetic, innovative, unconventional, hard workers, who can keep up with a fast-paced and growing environment, who also loves challenges and multitasking. In addition:

Excellent written and oral communication skills (writing sample will be required)**

Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group 

of clients, staff, and community members

Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills

Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Leadership and Conflict Management skills

Demonstration of personal and financial integrity in the workplace

Ability to work independently and within a team

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

We have a full-time office staff of health insurance claims personnel to handle and verify your insurance; as well as submit claims to your insurance for simple and easy access to the highest level of clinical counseling and therapy in the Las Vegas valley area.
