Adrienne Crosley is a Nevada Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) at Matters of the Mind, LLC Behavioral Health Agency, providing services at the Las Vegas location. Ms. Crosley has over 7 years’ experience in addiction counseling and working with adolescent female homeless youth in non-profit and for-profit organizations. She has enhanced her specialty skillset by working with individuals with co-occurring disorders in intensive inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. Ms. Crosley provides crisis intervention and supportive services to individual, couples, and families, working with community agencies to aid in assisting persons in need of services, with focus on the “whole person.” Ms. Crosley is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International, Walden University Omega Zeta Chapter as well as a member of Walden University and University of Nevada-Las Vegas Alumni Associations. She is also a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Ms. Crosley is very proud of her personal and professional accomplishments. She is a resident of Nevada for over 40 years. Professionally, Ms. Crosley’s strengths are “working side-by-side with diverse patients, reinforcing their value(s), and presenting her work in a way that is safe, ethical, and appropriate.” She demonstrates evidence-based practices that are growth-oriented and person-centered. She conveys empathy and encouragement toward those who are struggling with addiction, relationship distress, and/or life experiences. Ms. Crosley provides a reflective and problem-solving approach to one’s personal situation so that he or she may gain a sense of empowerment, confidence and a sense of awareness by thinking and behaving in alternative ways.
